Just a quick post to announce another of our apps that just went live on the AppStore today, namely: ThinkBubbles.
This one’s available for iPad, iPhone & iPod touch and is designed to provide a little distraction during ya daily commute. Nice way to start the day as it were.
If you’re anything like me, it can take you a while to getcha motor running in the morning. So ThinkBubbles is intended to be a simple way to give your grey matter a gentle prod and get the synapses firing.
Nothing too taxing I hasten to add; simply pop a few bubbles, that appear on the screen, in the correct sequence. (How hard could it be)? Of course the bubbles may be labelled with numbers, letters, musical notes or even roman numerals. Oh, and they might be frontwards, backwards or upside-down…wards. Just to make sure your brain is actually awake (and not thinking of that big fluffy pillow and warm comfy bed you left back home).
The inspiration for this particular app came from an article I once read on the efficacy of reading text that’s either upside down or back-to-front (mirror writing). Got me wondering how I could do that on a semi-regular basis; but maybe make it a little more fun? Struck me that ordering things in sequence is something that takes a little (but not too much) thought. Plus, varying the style of items that need sorting…and even the orientation, would perhaps do a better job of keeping a brain on it’s toes…
Stuck this one in the entertainment section as it’s not really a game as such. No time-limit to worry about. No high-score to beat. No limit on the number of levels. Just plenty of bubbles to pop and no particular need to remember where you left off, last time.
As mentioned, it’s available on all your iOS devices. So you can have a pop-fest whilst listening to your favorite tunes. (Wonder if humming at the same time adds to the cerebral workout)? Go check it out on the AppStore…here.
